Recently in San Diego we established our Franchise Advisory Council (FAC). We had seven nominees on the ballot, and elections were held. A total of 61% of our franchisees voted, and the top three nominees are now a part of our FAC.

Thomas Henry operates a 7-passenger AM franchise and has been a part of the Cloud 9 organization since 2001. He started as an employee driver and then in 2003 he became one of ten drivers to enter into our franchise pilot program. Mr. Henry came to us with a wealth of management experience in the health care industry, and has applied that knowledge to his own business as a Cloud 9 SuperShuttle franchisee.

Eileen Squires began her career as an employee driver for Cloud 9 in 2001. When the franchise opportunity was piloted in 2003, she entered the program. Today, she operates a 10-passenger AM franchise. Ms. Squires also manages her in-home care and transportation business locally as well as her Cloud 9 SuperShuttle franchise business.

Laura Tallant joined the Cloud 9 team as a franchisee in 2004. She operates her 24-hour franchise along with her husband James. Mrs. Tallant has management experience overseeing several restaurants which in the service industry helps her also in operating her franchise business.

In addition to the three drivers elected to serve on the council, Cloud 9 SuperShuttle is appointing two drivers, James Simon and James Rosenthal to round out the FAC.

James Simon joined the Cloud 9 team in 2007 and currently operates a 24-hour franchise with his partner Timothy Miller. Mr. Simon comes to us with management experience from the food and beverage industry as well as previously owning an auto repair facility. This experience helps him in the success of his Cloud 9 SuperShuttle franchise today.

James Rosenthal operates a Cloud 9 Classic sedan franchise on the AM shift. Mr. Rosenthal has been with Cloud 9 since 2003, and has management experience in the restaurant industry. He has gained vast experience in customer service having operated his franchise for the last five years.

We are happy to have such a diverse representation on this FAC with both 12 hour and 24 hour franchises and 10-passenger and 7-passenger shuttles and sedan represented. We are eager to explore this new avenue of communication between the franchisees and Cloud 9 SuperShuttle Management.
